Da Vinci Code

I have waited until this moment to comment on the book as well as the movie. If I ever had an opportunity to hire the Roman Catholic Church for my publicity agent, I would most certainly do so. They don't realize that anything they protest takes that energy and becomes go boy! Is it a story? Certainly. If there is even a smattering of Truth in it, do you think "the church" has a vested interest in damning it and branding it with scarlet...almost threatening any "good" Catholic with excommunication for seeing it? You betchum. What do I think? Read the miracle of the water being changed into wine again (John 2: 1-11) and see if there is even the most remote possibility that this was the wedding of Jesus and that He was the groom. Would it disturb me if Jesus was married with children and that possibly Mary Magdalene was His wife, even possibly the one who He saved from stoning? Not at all. I need not these things to be true, but if they were/are, wouldn't it make His presence as example and not exception stronger? See the movie, enjoy the entertainment and ask yourself the question "what are they afraid of."
