"The thought that you think, you think, which attracts to it; so you think it some more, which attracts to it; so you think it some more. In other words, when you have an expectation, you've got a dominant thought going on, and Law of Attraction is going to deliver that to you again, and again and again. And you say "The reason that I believe this, is because it is true." And we say, the reason that you believe it, is because you've practiced the thought. All that a belief is, is a thought that you keep practicing." Abraham

Anything you have elevated to a truth that doesn't deserve to be held in such a lofty place in your mind? What if we began to purposefully practice thoughts that might be more to our liking? "How can I tell?" If you steer your mind someplace where you begin to feel good, then eventually this will become a belief that will soon morph into a truth that catches the attention of the Law of Attraction. If you hear we are going to hell in a hand basket because of government and dwell on it, does that make you feel all warm and cheery? What if you purposefully steered your thought to the awareness of your direct interconnectivity with Source who from this level of belief/Truth is fully capable of providing completely and fully from the many channels that are always available to us.

This can be done with any area of our lives. If something feels crappy, go to something that feels good, and eventually you (and I) will redecorate consciousness with the Truths we really want to be there.

hi larry. you know i can feel an understanding heart growing within. a wisdom within. not just a head knowledge. in one of your sermons i listened to recently you said our goal in life is like jesus' goal. to bare whitness to the truth. the more i listen to new thought teaching, the more i hear good things said, the more i listen to my heart, i find a wisdom that says, "make the right choice". do i want to dwell on all the crappy things? it's like what mary ellen was saying to just let go of suffering. it only begets more suffering. dwelling on crappy things just begets more dwelling on crappy things. and it just clogs up the flow of all good. i know god is giving us all more wisdom to choose right. like it says in a course in miracles that trials are just an opportunity to make another choice. not to attract more trials. i think a major block in fundamental christian thought is that suffering is good. no, i believe making right choices, seeing good, enjoying the fullnes of wholeness everywhere, is good. good things are good, not the oppisite, which is really nothingness. i have a certainty that this new thought that is taught at unity church and many other places is growing and filling the earth as we all are coming into a higher conciousness. like the bible says all men/women shall know the lord. all shall attract good and only good in their lives. attraction, i can see why abraham is so concerned about it. it really is a key point. if we can make right choices and realize what we are attracting, we can avoid so much crap, and attract so much joy. there is so much to be gained by using our power of wisdom, listeneing to our hearts and choosing right. god bless, jay.
